We strive to offer the best possible driving instructor training.

The driving instructor training team is overseen by Kathy Higgins; one of the countries’ most respected and qualified driving instructor trainers, an award winning business woman and published author of An Insight to Drive.

However, Kathy is still very much down to earth and still has her feet firmly on the ground.

FAQs

Do you pay for your instructor training up front?

We like to be as flexible as possible, to make it easy for you to fund your training. You can pay for the whole course or pay as you go, session by session.

Are you offered a refund, just in case you change your mind, or have to stop training?

We offer all our trainees refunds in the event you have to stop training. Check out our terms and conditions.

Can you choose to pay as you go?

Yes, of course you can, you can pay for a single 2 hour in car training session at a time, or if you are already training else where, simply pay for our classroom sessions one at a time.

Will the training just focus on the part 3 driving instructor test?

Passing your part 3 is a focus for everyone, but we like to go one step further than just covering the bare essentials, our part 3 foundation training comprises of 44 hours 1 to 1 face to face training (40 of those will be conducted in car) Our weekly classroom workshops (free to attend if you are already training with us or part of our instructor team) but they are open to others at a small cost. All we want is to work with you, so that you have all the skills and knowledge to become a successful driving instructor and business owner.

What support is available once you pass?

After you pass all your tests with us, We will help you decide what franchise, if any to go with, you might want to join our team, but we do not force you to join us! We also help you find dual controls, driving instructor insurance, driving school car, and much more, if you decided we are a good fit for you and you join our team we offer you at least 2 hours in car development each month, in your first year or up to you standards check, after this we leave it up to you to ask for help whenever you feel you need it.

What happens if I join the team but then what to go solo?

Simple answer is yes, from the outset we only ask you to sign a 12 month contract, which could be staying with us for 6 months after your trainee licence runs out, then it becomes a rolling monthly contract. It is important to remember that after you have been with us for 12 months your franchise fees are lowered and lowered again after 24 months. So, whenever you are ready to go solo, we help you to do that too, It is all about helping YOU become successful.

Are there any opportunities to continue to train and continue to develop as a business person and driving instructor?

Yes there are many opportunities we can offer you, should you want to expand, being part of our team means just that you are part of it. If you want to progress into joining our ADI training team or have a specialism you want to pursue we can chat about that too.
